Marty Erickson
Marty Erickson performs as a soloist throughout Europe, Japan, Latin America and the United States. In addition to his work with Balance Duo, he can be heard with the Brass Band of Battle Creek, The Millennium Brass Quintet and on his two solo CD’s. He teaches at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music and University of Wisconsin School of Music and performs on a DEG/Willson instrument and mouthpiece he helped design.

Alison Shaw

Alison Shaw is an award-winning soloist and acclaimed interpreter of new music. She has performed throughout the United States and Europe and recently released her solo CD, Signs of Intelligent Life. In addition to Balance Duo, she performs with Quorum Chamber Arts Collective and is principal timpanist with the Brass Band of Battle Creek and the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra. Her teaching credits include Michigan State University, Interlochen and she is currently faculty at the University of Wisconsin. Ms. Shaw also serves on the Percussive Arts Society Board of Directors.

Kraftwerk
Balance Duo tours nationally and internationally, always pushing the boundaries of virtuosity for percussion and tuba. They have a brand new CD titled Kraftwerk.
