Katherine
McLin enjoys a prolific and varied performance
career. Since her debut with the Oregon Symphony at the age
of 15, she has made over three dozen solo appearances with
orchestras from coast to coast. As a solo and chamber
musician she holds ten recordings on the Centaur, Summit,
and Opus One labels and has appeared in series across the
country. Currently Associate Professor of Violin at ASU and
Assistant Concertmaster of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra
of Ohio, she also serves as Artist Faculty of the Brevard
Music Center in North Carolina. She received her DMA in
violin performance from the University of Michigan, with
additional performance degrees from Indiana University and
Oberlin Conservatory.
