Music Arizona Concert, June 13, 2008, 7:30 p.m.
Philip Dixon is
best known in the area as a classical baritone singer,
but he is equally loved in different circles for his
cowboy folk music. He and his guitar have have been
heard at various local churches, Granite Peak Folk
Sessions, the Prescott Folk Festival, Kerrville Folk
Festival, Gospel Sing for May Madness Contra Dancing,
and most recently at a benefit for Coyote's Garage.
His wife Allison Dixon frequently sings and plays
mandolin with Philip. Philip's favorite crowds to
please with his guitar are those who join him around
the camp fire on a cool and clear Arizona night.
