Chris Burton Jácome (

began playing guitar in 1986. While living in Sevilla,
Spain, Chris studied flamenco guitar with some of the
greatest flamenco performers of this era. Chris has
played to many sold-out theaters and has performed
throughout the US. Chris is currently the musical
director for Calo Flamenco, Ballet de Martín Gaxiola.
Chris writes the music and lyrics for Calo’s
productions and performs live with his musical
ensemble for Calo’s Broadway-ready flamenco dance
shows. His recordings have won awards and
international acclaim. Chris's music can be heard on
the Emmy Award winning PBS special "Flamenco",
Television Shows such as “Kyle xy” and “Greek” or on
any of his CDs. Of his newest CD, "Flamenco", Get Out!
Magazine says "Jácome’s gorgeous, evocative
compositions are a testament to his abilities as a
writer and performer." and Slipcue.com calls it “An
extraordinary and fresh-sounding, passionate album."
